Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol has opened an investigation into a pedestrian accident that sent one man to the hospital Sunday night.
Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins, spokesman for the South Carolina Highway Patrol, said the incident happened around 9:25 p.m. on US-17 Bypass near Farrow Parkway. Ranferi Flores, 30, was airlifted to New Hanover Regional Medical Center after he was struck by a car.
While the investigation is ongoing, officials said they do not believe the driver of the car will face any charges.
