Ohio church that lost giant Jesus looks at the bright side

Ohio - MONROE, OH (AP) - Leaders of an Ohio church have focused on the positive following a lightning strike that burned down their giant Jesus statue.

The Rev. Darlene Bishop, co-pastor of the Solid Rock Church north of Cincinnati, told worshippers on Sunday that the church got a lot of free publicity and that some came to worship because of it.

Church leaders plan to rebuild the six-story "King of Kings," which was known locally as "Touchdown Jesus" because of the way the arms were raised.

Bishop pledged that the church along Interstate 75 will rise up in a new way after the June 14 loss of the plastic foam and fiberglass statue.
