SOUTH CAROLINA (WMBF) - Four people were killed in vehicle-related accidents over the weekend, according to the latest statewide fatality report from the South Carolina Department of Public Safety.
The four fatalities across the state occurred between Friday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at midnight.
As of Monday, 357 people have died on South Carolina roadways, compared to the 415 highway deaths reported during the same time period in 2009.
Of the deaths reported in the state's latest fatality report, three victims were not wearing a seatbelt.
Included in the 271 motor vehicle occupants who have died in 2010, 152 were not wearing seat belts.
