Man wanted for indecent exposure at MB convenience store

Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Police in Myrtle Beach are searching for a man who they say exposed himself inappropriately at an area convenience store early Sunday morning.

Officers with the Myrtle Beach Police Department were dispatched Sunday to a Scotchman convenience store, located along 21st Avenue North just before 4:30a.m. Upon arrival, a woman said a black male repeatedly exposed himself while inside of the store.

The woman said the man entered the store, walked to the drink cooler and pulled down his pants, exposing his backside. As the man approached the register, he pulled his pants down and exposed his genitals.

Police say a friend of the suspect entered the store and said something to the man amidst the incident. The victim told police the man pulled up his pants, and when his friend exited the store, pulled them down once more to expose himself.

An official police report states the man left the convenience store in a green Chevrolet, traveling east on 21st Avenue North.

The suspect is described by police as a black male standing 5'7" and weighing an estimated 165 pounds. He was wearing a red baseball cap, white shirt and dark shorts at the time of the incident. The victim said he was a regular customer of the store.

Anyone with information on the location of the suspect is asked to call the Myrtle Beach Police Department immediately.
