Columbia, SC - COLUMBIA, SC (WMBF) – A Columbia man has been charged in a two count indictment, according to United States Attorney William Nettles.
Authorities stated today that David Damond Johnson, 21, was charged with possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.
The maximum penalty Johnson could receive is a fine of $250,000 and/or go to prison for 25 years to life, according to officials.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The US Attorney stated all charges in this indictment are accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
