TAMPA, FL (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach High School will represent the Carolinas in the upcoming NFL National 7-on-7 passing tournament in Tampa, FL.
The Seahawks won the Carolinas 7-on-7 Passing Tournament, hosted by the Carolina Panthers on Thursday in Charlotte. Next up, the team will head to Tampa for the national tourney July 9-12.
The Seahawks, led by QB Everett Golson, won seven games on a very hot day at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. There were 12 teams in the field, including powerhouse programs like Chesterfield High School and Butler High School from Matthews, NC.
Myrtle Beach beat the team from Spartanburg High School in the tournament finals.
