Evan Lambert's career in broadcast journalism began before he graduated high school, as a reporter and anchor for Teen Perspective 2News, a teen news show at the ABC affiliate in his native Baltimore.
It was there that he developed a passion for story-telling and all things news. His passion transitioned from a hobby to a career in college.
Evan is a proud graduate of the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism. Go Terps!
While at the university, he was a reporter for the college's weekly news program Maryland Newsline on UMTV. During college, Evan had the chance to work in almost every capacity in front and behind the camera.
His other professional experience includes internships at WPTV, Florida's top-rated news station in West Palm Beach, and while abroad in Madrid, Spain.
One of Evan's most memorable assignments was covering the execution of D.C. area sniper John Allen Muhammad.
While he's not in the newsroom, Evan likes to spend time jogging and working out. He's always loved the beach, so living in the Grand Strand is going to be a real treat!
