Sarah Miles joined WMBF News in May 2010 as its second news director since the station's 2008 launch.
A graduate of Illinois State University and from the Chicago area, Sarah is excited about bringing fresh ideas to WMBF News.
"I'm thrilled with the chance to join the talented team at WMBF News and look forward to taking the great newscasts you watch each day and making them even better by focusing on issues that are important to the community," Sarah said.
For the past eight years, Sarah has worked her way up the ranks at Raycom Media's affiliate station, WAVE, in Louisville, KY. Prior to her start at WAVE, Sarah worked at WEHT, WTVW and WEVV in Evansville, IN. She started her career in broadcasting at WHOI in Peoria, IL.
Sarah is joined in the Grand Strand by her husband Scott, and two daughters, Kila and Mattingly.
