MISSING: Jermine Davis

Florence, SC - FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) – The Florence County Sheriff's Office and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is asking for the public's help in looking for 10-year-old Jermine Davis, a possible runaway child.

Captain Michael M. Nunn, of the Florence County Sheriff's Office said Davis left his foster home in Pamplico, SC sometime around 1 p.m. on June 7.

Davis was last seen riding a blue bicycle and wearing a brown shirt, brown and blue plaid shorts and flip flops.

Investigators say it is possible that Davis is attempting to reunite with his biological mother, Josephine Burgess of 345 Eugene Street, Lake City, SC.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Jermine Davis or of Josephine Burgess is asked to contact the Florence County Sheriff's Office (843) 665-2121, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-877-446-2632 or just call 911.

You do not have to reveal your identity to leave information.
