Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Emergency crews responded to a Myrtle Beach hotel late Friday morning after a boy nearly drowned.
According to Myrtle Beach Assistant Fire Chief Andrew Cimini, workers were dispatched to 6900 N. Ocean Blvd. at the Caravelle Resort around 11:45 a.m.
Myrtle Beach Police Capt. David Knipes said the 5-year-old boy was poolside when he fell into the pool. An officer on the scene said the boy was not breathing when he was rescued, but was resuscitated and taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
Cimini has not released any further information on the incident.
