MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down 51-year-old James Sylvester Brown, who is wanted on a second degree burglary charge.
Investigators in Myrtle Beach allege officers responded to an alarm at a business warehouse on July 18, 2009, and discovered someone had entered into the building. Police found entrance was made after making a hole in the wall and prying open a bathroom door.
Blood collected on the scene from the apparent suspect was sent to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division for analysis and traced back to Brown.
Brown is described as a black male, standing 6'3" and weighing 180 pounds. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes.
The suspect is believed to have ties to the Myrtle Beach and Charleston areas. Anyone with information on Brown's whereabouts is asked to call the Myrtle Beach Police Department immediately.
