Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Police in Myrtle Beach are investigating a series of gang symbols that were painted onto the side of a Grand Strand business over the Memorial Day holiday.
Officers were called to 1102 Third Ave. South on Friday after learning of a vandalism complaint from Victoria's Country Cookin'.
An employee said around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, he noticed the gang writing sprayed on the side of the business and another area building. The vandalism, according to police, does appear to be gang related. Police have yet to connect the graffiti to a specific group.
The employee said the company was planning on painting the building in the near future. The value of the vandalism has been priced at $700.
