Police investigate Monday stabbing in Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A 31-year-old man is recovering after police say he was found with "puncture-like wounds" inside of a Myrtle Beach apartment on Monday.

Officers with the Myrtle Beach Police Department were called to 606 N. 19th Ave. just after 8:30 p.m. following a tip from an anonymous female caller. Upon arrival, police found the victim on a couch with several deep cuts and wounds to his back and tricep.

The victim, identified as Levi McKnight, 31, of Myrtle Beach, was transported by EMS to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center to receive treatment.

Myrtle Beach Police have not commented any further on the incident.
