Report: Man stripped, robbed at Broadway at the Beach

Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A 22-year-old Surfside Beach man reported he was forced to strip and robbed at gunpoint in a bathroom at Broadway at the Beach early Monday morning, according to a police report.

The victim said he went into the restroom at Broadway Louie's, 1318 Celebrity Circle, around midnight. He said he went into a stall and closed the door behind him. A few seconds later, a man opened the stall door and pointed a gun in the victim's face and ordered him to strip off his clothes and demanded his wallet and cell phone.

According to the report, the robber and another suspect said they would be back. After two the three minutes, the victim said he put his clothes back on and reported the incident to security.

The victim said the robbers got away with two credit cards, $250 in cash and a Blackberry cell phone.

The suspects are described as black men, 20-30 years old, and standing approximately 6' tall and weighing 200 pounds. Both men had short to medium-length hair and were wearing black shirts and black pants at the time.
