CCU baseball finale canceled

RADFORD, Va. – The Coastal Carolina University baseball game at Radford has been canceled due to rain in the New River Valley.  The game will not be made up.  The Chanticleers now end the regular season 47-7 overall and a perfect 25-0 in Big South play.  Coastal becomes just the second team in Big South history to go through conference play with an unblemished record.  The Chanticleers finished 15-0 in Big South play in 1988.

Coastal Carolina is the top seed in the Big South Baseball Championships in Rock Hill, S.C., and will play Wednesday, May 26 at 11 a.m., in game three of the tournament.  For the complete Big South Championships bracket, check and Saturday night.
