Florence, SC - FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - The Florence Tennis Association is hoping its annual Tennis Block Party will help draw Pee Dee residents into the popular sport.
The event, open to both children and adults, will be held at Timrod Park on May 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Organizers say the Tennis Block Party will offer activities for children, as well as for beginning and experienced adult players. Those who are looking to learn about the game of tennis in a fun and non-threatening environment are encouraged to attend.
The Florence Tennis Association is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that develops and promotes a variety of local programs and services for recreational tennis players.
