Marion County, SC - MARION COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A 20-year-old has been arrested by Marion County deputies in connection to a string of recent ATV thefts in the Pee Dee.

Ryeon Ramelle Fogan, 20, of Columbia, was arrested Friday after attempting to sell a stolen 4-wheeler in the Wahee community of Marion County. Investigators found the ATV in a wooded area, and later located Fogan hiding in a vent space in his home.

During a search of Fogan's home, his girlfriend told officers he was not at home, and has since been charged with giving false information to police.

Investigators returned the ATV to a homeowner in the Springville community who had reported the vehicle stolen on Thursday.

A background check on Fogan revealed warrants for his arrest in connection to a previous ATV theft in September 2009.  The 20-year-old, who has been wanted by deputies for eight months, is being held at the Marion County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
