Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - One man is recovering following a fight that escalated into a stabbing early Friday morning in Myrtle Beach.
Myrtle Beach Police were dispatched to an apartment along Second Avenue South at 1:40 a.m. Friday after a landlord reported a man had been stabbed by a 37-year-old.
According to the landlord, the suspect began punching the victim inside of a kitchen when he pulled out a knife and stabbed the man. The suspect, identified only as "Antonio," fled the scene of the crime before police arrived.
Myrtle Beach Police describe Antonio as a Hispanic male standing 5'6" and weighing 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The 37-year-old had been residing at the location of the stabbing for three days.
The victim, who the landlord said did not get along with the suspect, had moved out of the apartment where the stabbing occurred approximately three weeks ago.
Anyone with information on the location or complete identity of Antonio is asked to call the Myrtle Beach Police Department immediately. The suspect is wanted on charges of assault with intent to kill.
