Darlington, SC - DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) - Three students are facing charges following the discovery of a steak knife at Darlington High School on Thursday.
Audrey Childers, spokeswoman for the Darlington County School District, said a student brought the steak knife to school, allegedly as part of his lunch. Two of the student's friends found the knife and held it in public, but no verbal threats were made.
All three will be charged with possession of a weapon on school grounds in connection to the non-violent incident. The students will be disciplined according to district procedures.
