Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - An 8:30 a.m. shotgun start will kick-off the 23rd Annual Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach Golf Tournament next month, according to event organizers.
The fundraising tournament will be held at June 19 at Legends Country Club's Hartland Course. Entry fee, according to organizers, is $100 per person and $400 per team. The entry fee includes green fees, a golf cart, breakfast buffet, door prizes, refreshments and lunch.
The tournament has been designed to help support individuals across the Grand Strand who are in immediate need of assistance. In 2009, Helping Hand officials said more than 21,000 clients received assistance, totaling $186,000 in rent, utilities, medications, gas and other needs.
