3 arrested in connection to string of NMB vehicle break-ins

North Myrtle Beach, SC - NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Three people have been arrested and charged in connection to a string of automobile break-ins, according to officials with the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety.

According to spokeswoman Nicole Aiello, the three subjects allegedly stole golf clubs and electronics valued at more than $10,000 from the targeted vehicles.

Two of the three suspects arrested are juveniles. The third has been identified as Corey C. Russell, 17, of Longs.

Officers with the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety are strongly urging residents and visitors to remove golf equipment, electronics and other valuables from parked vehicles.
