Wind River Canyon, WY - (NBC) - Crews are working to remove a freight train from Wyoming's Big Horn River.
The train collided with a boulder early Wednesday afternoon as it made its way along tracks in the Wind River Canyon near Thermopolis.
The train derailed and slid into the river, where it started leaking oil.
Officials say they are now focused on cleaning up the mess.
The two train engineers were able to climb out of the locomotive before the cab filled with water. Neither were hurt.
