Oconee County man charged in federal firearms case

Columbia, SC - COLUMBIA, SC (WMBF) - A 25-year-old from Salem, SC, has been indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday for possessing methamphetamine and being a felon in the possession of a firearm.

According to authorities, the charges pressed against Justin David Crenshaw stem from a Sept. 28, 2009 arrest by deputies in Oconee County.

Crenshaw faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum sentence of life in prison. The 25-year-old also faces a fine of $250,000.
