Pet House Project at MB Home Show to benefit shelter

Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Grand Strand Humane Society is teaming up with the Horry-Georgetown Home Builders Association for the annual Pet House Project.

The two groups are planning the Pet House Project for the Horry-Georgetown Home Builders Association Home Show. This year's Home Show is being held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center May 21-23.

The Pet House Project is made up of a display of pet and house related products. People are encouraged to bid on these items as well as gift baskets during an auction that will take place for the duration of the HGHBA Home Show.

Winning bids will be announced at the end of the Home Show. Winners that aren't present will be called to pick up their item.

The proceeds from the Pet House Project benefit the Grand Strand Humane Society.

The Grand Strand Humane Society is a non-profit organization. The shelter takes in animals brought in by the City of Myrtle Beach Animal Control as well as those brought into the shelter by members of the community.
