Man honors U.S. vets in cross country journey; stops in MB

Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A man walking across the country in honor of military veterans is making a pit-stop in Myrtle Beach on his 4,500-mile journey Tuesday evening.

Mark Klodzinski will be taking a breather on his walk for veterans at the KOA Campground on 5th Avenue South. He began his journey in New York and plans on walking to Florida and across the U.S. to the West Coast.

Klodzinski is helping to support the Warrior's Wish Foundation, an organization founded and operated by military veterans. The organization grants special wishes to those who served in the U.S. military that are battling life-threatening illnesses or who have been injured in the war on terror.
