Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - An action group is demanding answers into the death of a prisoner at the Myrtle Beach Jail last week.
The Rev. Raymond Johnson of Action Seven, a civil rights group, claims a man named Samuel Bass was arrested Wednesday for public intoxication and died shortly after.
Johnson said the inmate complained of abdominal pains and died a short time later.
The Horry County Coroner's Office have not determined a cause of death for Bass. Autopsy results could take up to 12 weeks to complete.
