Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Seventy-two spots are available for the 9th annual Grand Strand Humane Society Golf Tournament, scheduled to take place on June 13.
The Sunday tournament will kick-off with registration at 12:30 p.m. and a shotgun start at 2 p.m. at the Myrtlewood Golf Club.
The cost to participate as a two-man team in the tournament is $150. Golfers participating in the event will receive a gift bag and additional prizes for the top 10 finishing teams.
Humane Society spokeswoman Cara Gibbs says holes 1-6 will be set up as "Captain's Choice" holes, while holes 7-12 will be "Alternate Shot Holes" and holes 13-18 will be "Best Ball Holes."
Food and beverages will be available on the course during the entire tournament. Food is provided by Foster's Café and Bar, Carrabba's Italian Grill, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Bonefish Grill and Domino's Pizza.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Grand Strand Humane Society.
