Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Members of the Leadership Grand Strand Alumni Association will be lending a helping hand to those less fortunate in the community by serving a free lunch to the homeless.
The complimentary lunch will take place at Chapin Memorial Park at 16th Avenue North on May 2 from noon to 2 p.m. The meal will provide the homeless with food on a day when the community kitchen on Mr. Joe White Avenue is not open for service.
Leadership Grand Strand Alumni are comprised of area businessmen and women who completed a nine-month program to develop leadership for the Grand Strand area. The association performs various community service duties throughout the year.
