Hotel offers new option for Grand Strand tourists

Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - People traveling to the Grand Strand will soon have one more choice of hotel, as the Palmetto Shores prepares to open its doors to the public on April 30.

The new hotel, managed by the Brittain Resort Management Company, has been transformed from an existing hotel located at 1706 North Ocean Boulevard. Company officials say it has renovated, remodeled, and will offer 180 rooms in three oceanfront towers.

Palmetto Shores will offer its guests two outdoor pools, an indoor pool, hot tubs and a pool for children. A waterpark, according to the Brittain Resort Management Company, is currently under construction on the property and will open later in the sumer.
