3 men wanted for parking meter thefts in MB

Myrtle Beach, SC -

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach Police are looking for three men who are believed to be involved in a parking meter theft along 12th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach.

According to a department report, a hotel security guard became alarmed when he heard a sound coming from the area of 12th Avenue North and Withers Alley. The guard says he saw a man running to a maroon SUV with something stuffed in his jacket before it drove further down the alley. Moments later, the guard reported seeing two men running with a parking meter.

The vehicle involved in the larceny is described as a possible maroon Toyota 4-door SUV. The vehicle was last seen traveling west on 12th Avenue North before it turned onto Kings Highway.

Police describe the suspects involved as two black men wearing black jackets and a white man wearing a tan jacket.

A total of four parking meters were stolen, each valued at $200. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the three suspects is asked to call Myrtle Beach Police immediately.

According to Georgetown Sheriff's Office spokesperson Jason Lesley, the woman was shot outside of the SandBar on Ocean Hwy before fleeing to a nearby convenience store.
