May 8 last day to register to vote for primary

Conway, SC - CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - May 8 is the last day for people to register to vote in the June 8 Primary Election, according to Horry County Registration and Elections.

The Horry County Registration and Elections Office, located in the Horry County Technology Center, 103 Elm St. in Conway, will be open on May 8 from 9 a.m. to noon.

On Tuesday, June 8, polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. and registered voters waiting in line at 7 p.m. will still be allowed to vote. Registered voters will be required to show any one of three forms of identification in order to vote: a voter's registration card, driver's license or a picture ID issued from the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Curbside voting is also available for any voter, because of a physical handicap or aged 65 or older who cannot enter the polling place may vote outside of the polling place in their car.
