Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach Police are investigating after a 33-year-old man said he was stabbed while walking along Highway 15, according to a police report.
Officers were called to a home on Pinegrove Drive around 10:15 p.m. Monday. When officers arrived, they found the victim had two wounds on his chest, one of which was bleeding severely, the report states.
The victim told investigators he was walking near 1309 Hwy. 15 around 9:45 p.m. when a man named "Jeffrey" stabbed him with an unknown instrument. The victim was able to walk to his brother's residence, where a neighbor found him on the ground and called police.
According to the report, the victim's brother told officers the victim had been involved in an affair with his attacker's wife.
Investigators searching the area of the incident found a kitchen knife in a nearby bush.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
