GSHS hosts spring rabies clinic

From the Grand Strand Humane Society:

HORRY COUNTY, SC - The Grand Strand Humane Society has scheduled a rabies clinic on April 17 and April 24. In conjunction with DHEC's Spring Rabies Clinics, the community will be able to get a rabies shot for only $3.

In addition to the $3 rabies shot, pet owners will be able to get the DHPP canine vaccine for $10, the feline FVRCP vaccine for $10 and a Bordetella vaccine for $10.

The April 17 Rabies Clinic will be held at the Grand Strand Humane Society, located at 3241 Mr. Joe White Ave. in Myrtle Beach from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The April 24 Rabies Clinic will be held at Coastline Pet Supply, located at 3530 Northgate Dr. in Myrtle Beach from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Along with the rabies clinic, there will be an adopt-a-thon, food, fun and much more.

The Grand Strand Humane Society takes in animals brought in by the City of Myrtle Beach Animal Control as well as those brought into the shelter by members of the community. The Society is committed to providing excellent guest service to its visitors as well as the best care possible for the animals in the community.

    BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WMBF) – Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is looking to identify a suspect who robbed a BP gas station Saturday night, according to a release. The suspect robbed the gas station at 5053 Southport-Supply Road in Southport around 8:30 Saturday night. CCU students Tyler Bealmear and Kaycelyn Laymon have a love and passion for children and education, their hearts broken by the tragedy, but each refusing to let situations like these continue.
