Florence, SC - FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - Hundreds are expected to gather in Florence on Thursday for the first Tea Party of 2010, hosted by the Florence Tea Party Patriots.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Florence City County Complex to discuss the hot-button topic of taxes and what organizers call the "problem, abuse and misuse of the U.S. constitution."
Politicians invited by the committee to attend Thursday's event include Bill Connor, Ron Moore, Dean Fowler, John Spratt, Mick Mulvaney, James Clyburn, Nancy Harrelson, Rujon Williams and Richard Hines. Organizers, however, did not confirm if any of the guests would attend the event.
