10-year-old Maryland boy sets record as World's fastest cup stacker

(NBC) - To say he is quick would be an understatement. In just two years time, Kennard Gardner has become a master stacker.

"The first time I tried it, it was kinda hard for me," Gardner admitted.

Gardner admits he used a DVD to show him how to stack cups at such a fast pace. From the DVD, he broke the state and world record of 2.8 seconds.

At first, Kennard's family didn't know what to think of their son and his new sport. But his mom says competing has had helped Kennard deal with his anxiety.
