Darlington, SC - DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) - A 40-year-old woman is facing potentially deadly injuries after she was stabbed early Sunday night during an argument with another woman.

Capt. Daniel Watson with the Darlington Police Department says Clarissa Williams, 56, of Darlington, stabbed the woman near Williams' home on Third Street around 7 p.m. Sunday. Williams has since been charged with one count of assault and battery with intent to kill, remaining in custody at the Darlington County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.

The victim, whose name has not been released by police, was transported to a local hospital. Police have not commented on her condition.
