Easter 'Eggs'plosion

SURFSIDE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Surfside Beach Chick-Fil-A held their second annual Easter 'Eggs'plosion on Saturday.

More than 2,000 eggs were hidden around the parking lot. Chick-Fil-A covered their parking lot in 4,000 square feet of sod, building their own yard for kids to search in.

After the hunt the sod was sold, benefiting Habitat for Humanity.

Brandon Charpied with Habitat for Humanity says any donation makes a difference. "Anything is better than nothing especially in this economic climate," he said. "These good events and efforts like this is what Habitat thrives on."
