Atlanta, GA - ATLANTA (NBC) - An Atlanta family is the darling of the internet thanks to a video published on YouTube. Shot with a cell phone, the video shows a little boy's meltdown when his father tells him he's not a "single lady."
Carlos and Heather Whittaker were riding in the front of the car while their three children rode in the back seat. When Beyonce's "Single Ladies" starts playing on the car's radio, the family started singing and dancing along.
When the father notices that his only son, Losiah, is singing and dancing along, too, he tells him, "You're not a single lady, buddy," which sends the boy into tears.
Carlos Whittaker posted the video on his blog, RagamuffinSoul.com.
"I was simply making a point that he, in fact, is not a single lady," Whittaker wrote. "In fatherhood there are wins and there are losses. This, my friends, falls right in the middle.
"It is a win because my 3-year old son now knows the devastating effects of singing Beyonce in front of his father. It is a loss because with 6 words, I accidentally crushed his little heart!"
