CCU to celebrate National Library Week

Conway, SC - From Coastal Carolina University:

CONWAY, SC - Coastal Carolina University will celebrate National Library Week with an Edible Book Fair from noon to 2 p.m. on April 12. The event is free and open to the public.

University faculty, staff and students will submit their own edible book creations, and these will be on display while participants vote for their favorite books. The edible books will be all or partially edible and can look like a book in form and shape, be inspired by a book or author, be a pun of a book title, refer to a book character, reproduce a book cover or just have something to do with books in general.

Cake will be served throughout the event for all to enjoy.

National Library Week is held as a reminder of the contributions libraries, librarians and library workers make to their communities every day. Other events are planned for the CCU community throughout the week.
