Italian wines with the Hello Kitty brand creating controversy

Costa Mesa, CA - (NBC) - New Italian wines bearing the "Hello Kitty" brand are going on sale in the U.S., but that's creating controversy. Some say the alcohol is marketed toward young kids.

The new "Hello Kitty" wines are sold only at a few spots and come in all types, like Sparkling Brut Rose, Sparkling Sweet Pink, Angel White and Devil Red, but some are crying sour grapes by saying that the wines market to children.

Supporters say many Hello Kitty fans are adults.
