City of MB takes annual Easter egg hunt underwater

Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – It wouldn't be Easter without an egg hunt, and this year, the City of Myrtle Beach is taking theirs from the fields to the pool!

City planners are gearing up for the annual Myrtle Beach Easter Egg Plunge, hosted at the Canal Street Recreation Center for children ages 3 to 13. The 2010 plunge starts at 2 p.m. on Saturday inside of the Canal Street pool.

Parental supervision is suggested for non-swimmers and lifejackets will be provided for those in need.

The event is free to the public, but pre-registration is suggested. Sign-in by an adult is mandatory.
