Murrells Inlet, SC - MURRELLS INLET, SC (WMBF) - It's the lifeline for any non-profit organization, and now the Coastal Animal Rescue is asking for the public's help in supporting the Murrells Inlet animal shelter.
Shelter employees will be hosting a take-out barbeque lunch on April 16 to help increase the number of donations flowing into the organization's funds. Danny's Barbeque will help host the event, cooking up pork, sausage, coleslaw and beans for customers.
The no-kill shelter will be selling tickets on April 3 and April 10 from noon to 5 p.m. in Murrells Inlet in the front of the Food Lion on SC-707 and US-17 Bypass. Tickets will also be sold at the Piggly Wiggly grocery store located in the Woodside Village Shopping Center.
Officials reinforce 100 percent of each donation will be used to take care of the shelter's dogs and cats.
