NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - One firefighter has suffered minor injuries while battling a residential fire in North Myrtle Beach late Thursday afternoon.
Nicole Aiello, spokeswoman for North Myrtle Beach, said rescue crews were dispatched to an address on Tipper Lane Thursday afternoon after learning of a house fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found the fire contained to the roof area.
Aiello said the fire has been contained and firefighters continue to monitor the home for any hot spots or flare-ups.
Officials have not released what sparked the fire.
