Posted: Updated:

DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) - Darlington County Sheriff's deputies shut down a trio of illegal bars in Darlington County on Wednesday.

Deputies responding to complaints of illegal alcohol sale shut down the bars at 318 Sarah Circle, 925 Sarah Circle, both in Hartsville, and 1454 Old Society Hill Road in Darlington.

According to Darlington County Capt. Andy Locklair, investigators were watching the traffic of individuals walking into the locations and leaving with alcohol and later learned the people inside were selling alcohol without a license.

All the alcohol was confiscated at the locations and officers issued citations.

Citations for unlawful possession of liquor were issued to Darrell Hunter, 40, of Darlington, and Brooks Rogers Jr., 70 and Rodney Brockington, 38, of Hartsville.
