3 charged with trading sex for crack

DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) - Three Hartsville women have been charged with prostitution and attempting to purchase crack cocaine.

Darlington and Florence County officers arrested Jennifer Keeney, 20, Maria Bishop, 32, and Sara Abson, 60, on Wednesday afternoon during a joint operation designed to combat street-walking prostitutes.

According to Darlington County Capt. Andy Locklair, the three women were arrested after they agreed to trade sex for drugs to undercover investigators.

All three women are in the jail awaiting bond hearings on attempting prostitution and attempting to purchase crack cocaine charges.
