DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Four people died Saturday in crashes in Darlington County, according to authorities.

Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee said three people were killed in a crash around 3 p.m. Saturday on Tomahawk Road near Lydia. Hardee identified the victims as Shelton Addison, 28, of Hartsville, Jermaine Durant, 21, and Rodriguez Slater, 23, both of Lamar. All three men were riding in a 1991 Chevy two-door that ran off the right side of the road. Officials say the driver, Addison, over-corrected the vehicle and collided head-on with a Volvo SUV.

The accident remains under investigation by the Darlington County Coroner's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The Darlington County Coroner also confirmed Sybil Gandy, 62, died Saturday from injuries sustained in a crash on Thursday. The crash occurred at the intersection of BoBo Newsome and West Carolina Avenue when the vehicle Gandy was driving collided with another car.
