Lester Wade "Rocky" SkipperMARION COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A four-month drug investigation has led to the arrest of two men in Marion County Monday, according to Sheriff Mark Richardson.
The Marion County Combined Drug Unit arrested Cody Sudd Altman, 19, of Mullins, and Lester Wade "Rocky" Skipper, 27, of Nichols, at the conclusion of the lengthy investigation.
Altman was arrested on three counts of distribution of marijuana, one count of distribution of cocaine and one count of conspiracy to distribute marijuana. Should he be convicted of all charges, the maximum penalty Altman could face would be 32 years behind bars.
Altman was released from the Marion County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
Officials say Skipper was also booked into the Marion County Detention Center on one count of distribution of marijuana and one count of conspiracy to distribute marijuana. If convicted, Skipper could face seven years in jail.
Skipper was released from custody on a $10,000 bond.
