
COLUMBIA, SC (WMBF) - The SC Department of Consumer Affairs is hosting Shred Days and food drives in Columbia and Irmo on Nov. 19 to support Harvest Hope Food Bank.
Shred Day, which is a free on-side shredding service for sensitive and personal information (paper materials only), is set for 8 a.m. to noon and from 2-8 p.m. on Nov. 19 at the Department of Consumer Affairs, 3600 Forest Dr. in Columbia, and at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 6952 St. Andrews Rd. in Irmo.
The public is asked to donate non-perishable food items to support Harvest Hope, which is sponsoring the Shred Day along with Shred 360, Carolina Records and Information Management, Cintas and Richland County.
