Officers were called to the Domino's at 209 SC-701 just before 11 p.m. Friday. A clerk told investigators the suspect entered the store wearing a dark bandana, showed a gun and demanded money.
As the suspect was leaving the restaurant, police say the clerk followed him to get a description of the suspect vehicle. The suspect shot into the air, and the clerk followed the suspect to his car. While following the vehicle, investigators say the suspect fire two shots at the clerk's vehicle before getting away.
As a result of the investigation, two people have been identified in connection with the robbery. One of the suspects was located and arrested on Nov. 9, 2009. The second is still at large, and is believed to be in the Loris area.
James Myers III, 21, of Loris, was arrested and charged with armed robbery. He is currently out of jail on bond.
Brian Maurice Powell, 42, of Loris, is wanted on armed robbery and assault and battery with intent to kill charges. Police say Powell should be considered armed and dangerous.
Detectives with the Horry County Police Department’s Violent Crimes Section are asking anyone with information on the robbery to contact the Horry County Police Department at 843-915-5350.
