
FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - The Eastern Carolina Community Foundation is sponsoring a community forum for the Florence Recreational Trails on Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 8:30-10 a.m. The forum is open to the public and will be held at Central United Methodist Church on Irby Street.
The purpose of the gathering is to bring together any parties or individuals interested in the growth of the trail system to hear an update from the City of Florence and to discuss upcoming plans for the trail system.
A Florence Recreational Trails Fund which will be used for new trails has been established at the Eastern Carolina Community Foundation. Tax deductible donations may be made to this fund at any time.
The Eastern Carolina Community Foundation (ECCF) is a public charity established in 2006 as a collection of charitable funds built with gifts and bequests from people in the eastern part of the Palmetto State. The mission of the Foundation is to improve the quality of life in the Pee Dee area of South Carolina through inspired philanthropy.
